Luminescense is a design proposal for the TSB Festival of Lights in Taranaki.
The design explores the physical attributes of Bioluminescent sea creatures to create an out of sea walkthrough experience.
The modular structure contains strips of programmable LED’s changing colour within the green - blue colour range with a projection mapping overlay to imitate shimmering water casting the shadows over the structures. For a brief moment in time the user is immersed in to an underwater sea scape.
